Recent benchmarks reveal that Intel's new 14-core processor significantly outpaces both the Z1 and the upcoming Ryzen Z2 Extreme in graphically demanding titles. For portable PC gamers and hardware enthusiasts, this shift means handheld consoles can now achieve desktop-like frame rates without draining the battery, though it comes at a premium price.

According to testing by ETA PRIME, the Intel G3 Extreme leverages a hybrid architecture that balances computational power with strict energy efficiency. The processor integrates 14 cores - comprising 2 performance cores, 8 efficiency cores, and 4 low-power efficiency cores. This is paired with a B390 integrated GPU featuring 12 XE3 cores clocked at 2300 MHz.

Architectural Differences: Intel vs. AMD

While Intel relies on a high-core-count hybrid approach, AMD’s Ryzen Z1 Extreme and Z2 Extreme utilize traditional Zen architectures.
