For the past four years, regional users have relied on a localized version derived from Hotstar, which felt increasingly dated compared to the standard platform available in North America and Western Europe. The transition aligns these markets with Disney's unified global streaming strategy. Users logging in with their existing credentials are now greeted by fresh promotional artwork, a cinematic home screen, and menus that respond instantly without the lag associated with the previous build.
New Features to Try in the Global App
