Chery Auto's premium new energy vehicle (NEV) brand LEPAS hosted more than 300 global Test Drive Ambassadors in Wuhu from October 19 to 21 for real-world LEPAS test drives and technology demonstrations. According to the company, the sessions were held as part of the inaugural LEPAS Global Elegant Lifestyle Week, focusing on urban driving, cornering, and automated parking.

The demonstrations also accompanied the L6 EV's LEPAS Global Journey of Elegant Driving. Through these sessions, the automaker aimed to showcase what it calls Elegant Technology across various mobility scenarios, alongside the LEPAS L4 EV.

### Handling and Suspension Obstacle Courses

To evaluate vehicle responsiveness, ride comfort, suspension performance, and body control, the company put participants through a series of physical driving challenges. According to Chery Auto, the test courses included:

- Braking exercises
- Speed bumps
- Figure-eight slaloms
- U-shaped turns
- S-bends

### Intelligent Parking Systems and the LEPAS L8 PHEV

Everyday parking assistance was a central focus of the Wuhu event. LEPAS demonstrated its Automated Parking Assist (APA) and Remote Parking Assist (RPA) features alongside its Super Intelligent Valet Parking (SIVP) system, which is exclusive to the LEPAS L8 PHEV.

According to LEPAS, the SIVP system combines digital garage mapping, navigation, and optimized multi-sensor fusion to park autonomously inside designated enclosed parking areas. The company states that drivers can summon their vehicles remotely, while the system searches for vacancies, identifies open spaces, plans routes, and maneuvers into tight parking spots.

### Vehicle-to-Load Power and Global Network

Beyond the driving tracks, the event highlighted daily utility through Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, with LEPAS vehicles supplying power to coffee machines and catering equipment on site. Under its “TOGETHER IN ELEGANCE” theme, LEPAS says feedback gathered from the global ambassadors will help the brand better understand user mobility needs and bring its “Drive Your Elegance” concept into daily use.
